Spanish giants, FC Barcelona, are keen on signing German defender of Ivorian descent, Jonathan Tah.

The Spanish La Liga leaders are already planning on reinforcing their squad for the 2025/26 football season.

In a bid to do that, the club wants to secure the services of the centre-back to strengthen its defense.

The club aware of its difficult financial situation believes it is wise to go in for Jonathan Tah who will become a free agent in the summer transfer window.

Tah, 29, is set to leave Bayer Leverkusen when the 2024/25 football season comes to an end.

The highly-rated centre-back has already confirmed his decision to end his stay at Leverkusen.

He believes that after spending years at the club, it is time to pursue a different challenge.

With his exit imminent, several clubs have been linked with a move to sign the defender.

Among the clubs is Bayern Munich which is looking for a new defensive leader for the 2025/26 football season

Manchester United are also believed to be interested in the signing of Jonathan Tah.
