Partey joined Arsenal on 5 October 2020 after the Premier League side activated his £45 million (€50 million) release clause from Atlético Madrid. He made his debut just 12 days later, coming on as a substitute for Granit Xhaka in a 1–0 loss to Manchester City. Since then, he has been a key figure in Mikel Arteta’s setup, but injuries have hampered his consistency.
