Barcelona monitor Victor Osimhen as Galatasaray demand 140 million euros

Barcelona are still keeping a close watch on Victor Osimhen, but any move for the Nigerian striker would demand a huge financial effort.

Galatasaray are not expected to let him go cheaply, with reports saying they will only entertain bids starting at 140 million euros.

Osimhen has just completed a brilliant 2025/26 season in Turkey, where he was named Super Lig Player of the Season and helped Galatasaray defend their league title. He finished with 22 goals and eight assists in 32 matches across all competitions, underlining why he has remained one of Europe’s most talked-about forwards.

In the league alone, the 27-year-old scored 15 goals and provided five assists in 22 games. He also impressed in the Champions League, where he produced seven goals and three assists in 10 appearances, including a memorable hat-trick against Ajax.

Barcelona are expected to strengthen their attack this summer, but Osimhen’s price tag could make this pursuit extremely difficult. With Galatasaray in a strong negotiating position and the striker still delivering elite numbers, the Catalan club may need to look carefully at whether this deal is truly realistic.
