Barcelona make Aziz Issah deal permanent as Ghanaian forward earns long-term contract

Ghanaian forward Aziz Issah has completed a permanent move to FC Barcelona after the Spanish giants reached an agreement with Dreams FC for his transfer.

The 20-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the Catalan club that will keep him at Barcelona until June 30, 2028. The deal also includes an option to extend his stay for an additional season.

The contract signing ceremony was attended by FC Barcelona’s Director of Youth Football, José Ramón Alexanko, as the club confirmed Issah’s return to Barça Atlètic on a permanent basis.

Issah previously spent the last two seasons with Barcelona’s reserve team on loan from Dreams FC, where he impressed with his performances. During the 2025/26 campaign, the Ghanaian winger made 20 appearances, scoring four goals and registering one assist.

Issah began his career with Dreams FC before earning a move to Barcelona, initially joining the club’s development setup.

The attacker has now been handed a permanent contract as Barcelona continue to invest in young talents capable of making the step up through their system.

Before linking up with the team ahead of pre-season preparations, Issah completed his mandatory medical examinations alongside his teammates.

His permanent transfer marks another significant milestone in the career of the Ghanaian youngster, who will now look to establish himself as a key figure for Barça Atlètic in the coming seasons.
