Barcelona linked with €90m move for Eli Junior Kroupi
Barcelona are reportedly willing to go as high as €90 million for Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi, whose breakthrough season in England has turned plenty of heads.
The 19-year-old has been one of Bournemouth’s standout players this season, quickly becoming a fan favourite thanks to his sharp movement, confidence and eye for goal.
With Robert Lewandowski’s exit now confirmed, Barça are actively searching for a new striker to lead the line next season. Kroupi has emerged as a serious target after scoring 13 goals in his debut Premier League campaign, a return that has only increased his value.
Bournemouth are in a strong position because Kroupi has no release clause in his long-term contract. That gives the English club room to demand a premium fee, and reports say they do not intend to negotiate easily.
Club director Tiago Pinto has also made the stance clear, insisting the young forward is not for sale even if major European clubs arrive with huge offers. For Barcelona, the interest is understandable, but the price tag could make this one of the toughest deals of the summer.
