Barcelona eye Omar Marmoush as alternative to Álvarez

FC Barcelona are reportedly considering Omar Marmoush as a potential signing in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Marmoush, the 25-year-old Egyptian international currently at Manchester City, has emerged as a credible Plan B. Valued at around €50 million, he offers a more affordable option for the Spanish side.

It is not yet clear whether Pep Guardiola will allow Marmoush to leave. The striker joined Manchester City in the winter of 2025 and is currently completing his first full season at the club, where he has been gradually integrating into the squad.
