Barcelona eye move for Morocco prodigy Yassir Zabiri

Spanish giants Barcelona have expressed firm interest in Morocco youth star Yassir Zabiri following an explosive display at the recently concluded FIFA U20 World Cup tournament in Chile.

Given his outstanding performance for club and country, the fast-rising Moroccan attacker has attracted the interest of FC Barcelona, who are considering adding him to their ranks next summer.

Meanwhile, the Catalan giants will face competition from Benfica, who are also closely monitoring Zabiri’s progress.

Yassir Zabiri stands out for his technical skill and maturity on the pitch. FC Barcelona, known for scouting and developing young talent, could well make Zabiri one of its future assets.

The 20-year-old attacker exploded at the World Cup in the South American country, winning the Silver ball at the end of the tournament.

Zabiri was one of the standout performers for Morocco, as the North Africa country triumphed over Argentina in the final to annex their first ever World Cup title.
