Barcelona explore move for AC Milan striker Christopher Nkunku
French forward Christopher Nkunku, currently at AC Milan, has been linked with a move to Barcelona in a potential switch from Serie A to La Liga.
Nkunku joined Milan from Chelsea on 30 August 2025 in a deal worth €37m and remains under contract with the Italian club until 30 June 2030. His current market value is listed at €25m, although there is no indication of a proposed fee or negotiations between the clubs.
The 28-year-old has made 32 Serie A appearances for Milan, scoring seven goals and providing three assists. He has also scored 11 goals in 31 Champions League appearances during his career.
Nkunku’s move to Milan followed two seasons at Chelsea, where he won the Conference League and the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. Before his time in England, he spent four years with RB Leipzig after coming through the Paris St-Germain system.
Barcelona’s reported interest would represent another change of league for Nkunku, who has also played in France, Germany and England. However, the forward’s long-term Milan contract means any move would require an agreement between the clubs rather than a free transfer.
The reported link comes as Nkunku enters his second season with AC Milan, with Barcelona the club named as his potential destination.
