MUNIR EL HADDADI FAVORS LOAN MOVE TO CELTA VIGO FOR MORE PLAYING TIME
FC Barcelona’s rising star Munir El Haddadi could be on his way to Celta Vigo on loan, as the club looks to ensure more first-team experience for the young forward. With competition for places intensifying at Barça—especially following the end of Luis Suarez’s suspension—the Blaugrana and the player himself are said to favor a temporary move.
Despite a promising start to the season, Munir’s minutes could soon diminish with the return of established stars. According to Fichajes, Barcelona coach Luis Enrique, who is familiar with the Galician club from his time there, views Celta Vigo as the ideal destination for the 19-year-old to continue his development.
The loan would allow Munir to gain valuable La Liga experience before returning to Camp Nou more seasoned and match-ready. The move is also aligned with the club’s strategy to nurture homegrown talent without stagnating their progress on the bench.
Munir, born in Spain to Moroccan parents, has already chosen to represent La Roja internationally, turning down an approach from the Moroccan national team. His former agent Antonio Gabaldon recently reaffirmed the player’s commitment to Barcelona, saying:
“Munir is happy at Barcelona. He wants to stay because it’s the team that got him this far.”
