Barcelona claim five of six women’s Ballon d’Or awards

Barcelona dominated the women’s categories at the 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony, winning five of the six awards presented.

The Ballon d’Or event is organised by France Football to honour the world’s best players, coaches and teams for 2026.

Barcelona’s winners were:

– Vicky Lopez – best young player – Pere Romeu – best women’s coach – Cata Coll – best goalkeeper in the world – Barcelona – best women’s team in the world – Alexia Putellas – best player in the world

The only women’s award not won by Barcelona went to Pachuca forward Charlyn Corral, who was named the best attacking player in the world.
