Spanish media reports have outlined Barcelona Athletic’s early planning for the upcoming season, with a mix of new signings and promotions from the club’s Under-19 ranks expected to shape the squad.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the club’s hierarchy is satisfied with the work of Juliano Belletti, who is set to remain in charge for another campaign barring any unexpected developments that could alter his future in the coming months.

While continuity in the technical area is the current priority, changes are expected in recruitment, with Barcelona Athletic preparing for targeted reinforcements as well as internal promotions.

Several youth players are also being closely monitored, as the club continues to integrate talent capable of stepping up to the first team when required.

A key focus is expected to be in attack, where Egyptian forward Hamza Abdel Karim is reportedly set to play a significant role next season.

The striker, who joined Barcelona on loan last January, is still adapting to Spanish football but has already impressed coaching staff with his development.

The report describes Abdel Karim as a natural goalscorer with strong instincts inside the penalty area, adding that his performances have brought him closer to a potential permanent move.

If finalised, he is expected to be part of Barcelona Athletic’s plans from the start of next season.

The Egyptian forward previously made headlines with Barcelona’s Under-19 side after scoring a hat-trick in just 15 minutes during a standout display against Monte Carlo, underlining his rising reputation within the club’s youth system.
