Banasiraïkos FC of Greece has officially announced the mutual termination of Amr Warda’s contract via their official website. This decision comes just one round before the end of the season in the Greek league.
Despite securing their place in the competition for the next season, sitting comfortably at third position out of eight teams in the relegation stage, the club has opted to part ways with Warda.
Warda joined the team back in January and has since participated in 17 matches, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists in the Greek league.
Prior to his stint with Banasiraïkos, Warda had represented several Greek clubs including Panetolikos, PAOK, Atromitos, Larissa, and Volos.
His journey also took him to Cyprus, where he played for Anorthosis Famagusta and later Apollon Limassol.
However, after failing to reach an agreement with an Iranian club, Warda returned to the Egyptian league, joining the ranks of Farco, only to see his contract terminated.
Despite his return to the Egyptian league, Warda’s participation with Farco has been limited, featuring in just one match this season.
