France Football has announced the nominees for the men’s and women’s awards recognising the best club in the world at this year’s Ballon d’Or ceremony, with Bayern Munich the only club included in both categories.
The Ballon d’Or ceremony is held annually to present awards celebrating the best performers and teams in world football. The best club award was the first category for which nominees were revealed, with the remaining shortlists expected to be announced throughout the day.
Bayern Munich are among five nominees in the men’s category. They are joined by Arsenal, Bodø/Glimt, Flamengo and Paris Saint-Germain.

Bayern Munich are the only club to feature on both the men’s and women’s shortlists.
The women’s nominees are Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Club America, Manchester City and Olympique Lyonnais.

Paris Saint-Germain won the men’s best club award at last year’s Ballon d’Or ceremony.
The announcement of the club nominees begins the release of the shortlists for the individual and team honours to be presented at this year’s event. Further nominees across the other awards are expected to follow during the course of the day.
