Balla Guisse: Senegal defender joins ASC Jaraaf from Wally Daan in Ligue 1 move

Senegalese centre-back Balla Guisse has joined ASC Jaraaf from Wally Daan, strengthening the Dakar club’s defensive options ahead of the new Ligue 1 campaign.

The 25-year-old, who stands at 1.90m and plays primarily as a right-footed central defender, makes the switch within Senegal’s top flight after a spell at Wally Daan, where he arrived on a free transfer from Amitie FC in 2023. The latest move, completed on 15 July 2026, comes with Guisse currently carrying an estimated market value of €10,000.

Born in Koungheul on 17 April 2001, Guisse has already sampled top-flight action in Senegal, recording appearances and minutes in Ligue 1 that underline his experience at this level. His arrival gives ASC Jaraaf a physically imposing option at the back as the club looks to navigate domestic competition.

Guisse’s career path has been firmly rooted in Senegalese football, progressing from Amitie FC to Wally Daan before earning his move to ASC Jaraaf. Having featured in Ligue 1 with Wally Daan, he now steps into a new environment at one of the country’s recognised clubs.

The defender is officially registered with ASC Jaraaf de Dakar from 15 July 2026, completing his transfer from fellow Ligue 1 side Wally Daan.
