Algerian international Baghdad Bounedjah showcased his scoring prowess once again, finding the back of the net in a crucial match for his team, Al-Sadd, as they faced off against Al-Markhiya in the Qatar Cup.
Bounedjah made his mark early in the game, opening the scoring for Al-Sadd. Later, he earned a penalty, which his teammate Hussein Al-Haidos failed to convert, missing the chance to extend their lead to four goals.
The first half concluded with the Qatari club holding a comfortable two-goal advantage over Al-Markhiya in the round of sixteen of the prestigious Qatar Cup competition.
