Baf Ulku Yurdu bring in Togo-Ghana forward Kossi Adetu on loan

Togo-Ghana centre-forward Kossi Adetu has joined Baf Ulku Yurdu on loan from Magusa TG, completing a move that takes him back to the club he represented earlier in his career.

The 30-year-old made the switch on 9 September 2026, with the loan scheduled to run until 30 May 2027. Adetu had only joined Magusa TG the previous day after leaving Brothers Union on a free transfer, making his move to Baf Ulku Yurdu his second club change in as many days.

Adetu spent the 2020-21 season with Baf Ulku Yurdu after joining from Qanah on a free transfer. He had previously played for Qanah following a move from Nimba United in 2017, before later returning to the club in 2019.

The left-footed striker has also had spells with Marumo, Olympic and N. Sembilan FC. His recent career has included periods without a club, including before he joined Marumo in October 2025 and Brothers Union in August 2026.

Adetu’s recorded appearances include six in the Super League, where he scored once and supplied one assist, as well as a goal in one Egypt Cup appearance. He has also featured in the Betway Premiership, Carling Knockout and Malaysia FA Cup.

Born in Monrovia on 4 November 1995, Adetu stands 1.85m tall and operates as a central striker. His return gives Baf Ulku Yurdu a forward who has already played for the club, while his latest move links him with a side he left six years ago.

Magusa TG remain the club holding his registration during the temporary move, with Adetu due to return there when the loan ends on 30 May 2027. His transfer to Baf Ulku Yurdu was completed on 9 September 2026.
