Azam FC showcased their prowess on the pitch, securing a convincing 4-1 victory over Namungo FC to advance to the semi-finals of the Tanzanian FA Cup.

From the opening whistle, Azam FC asserted their dominance, dictating the tempo of the game with precision and skill. Within the first eight minutes of play, Emmanuel Zunon broke the deadlock, setting the tone for Azam’s commanding display.

The momentum continued as Nado extended the lead just five minutes later, putting Azam firmly in control of the match.

Not content with their advantage, Azam’s relentless attacking play yielded another goal in the 17th minute, with Toto finding the back of the net to further widen the gap.

Despite Namungo’s efforts to mount a comeback towards the end of the first half, their solitary goal from Semtawa in injury time was not enough to halt Azam’s momentum.

The second half saw Azam maintain their dominance, with Namungo unable to mount a significant challenge.

Instead, it was Azam who extended their lead further, securing a fourth goal to seal their victory with a comprehensive 4-1 scoreline.

With this commanding win, Azam FC secures their place in the semi-finals of the Tanzanian FA Cup, a testament to their strength and determination on the field.

As they continue their pursuit of silverware, Azam’s performance serves as a warning to their competitors of their formidable presence in the tournament.
