Ayoub Qasmi: Morocco defender returns to Hassania on free transfer
Morocco centre-back Ayoub Qasmi has joined Hassania from Al-Kharaitiyat on a free transfer, bringing the 32-year-old back to the Botola Pro Inwi club.
Qasmi completed the move on 15 September 2026 after leaving Al-Kharaitiyat, where he had spent the previous season. He returns to Hassania having previously represented the club between 2016 and 2019, before moving to Mouloudia.
The left-footed defender has made 186 appearances in the Botola Pro Inwi, scoring once and providing 12 assists. He has also played in the Saudi Pro League, Qatar Stars League 2 and several African and domestic cup competitions during his career.
Qasmi joined Al-Kharaitiyat after leaving Al-Raed in July 2025, also on a free transfer. His move to Al-Raed came in August 2024 from FUS Rabat, where he had spent three seasons after arriving from Mouloudia.
His career includes 27 Saudi Pro League appearances for Al-Raed and 13 games in Qatar Stars League 2. He also featured in the CAF Confederation Cup and CAF Champions League, along with the Moroccan Coupe du Trone.
Qasmi’s earlier career included a spell with Wydad Casablanca, with whom he won the Moroccan championship in the 2014-15 season. He later moved to Hassania for the first time in August 2016.
The 1.85m defender has now made Hassania his latest club after a career that has included football in Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The move also marks a return to the club where he previously played before beginning spells with Mouloudia, FUS Rabat, Al-Raed and Al-Kharaitiyat.
Qasmi’s market value is listed at €350,000, while his highest recorded value was €600,000 during his time with FUS Rabat.
The Morocco defender’s return to Hassania was completed as a free transfer from Al-Kharaitiyat on 15 September 2026.
