Ayoub Makhfaoui commits to Tunisia despite multiple international options
Rising talent Ayoub Makhfaoui has made a decisive choice about his international future, opting to represent Tunisia despite interest from several countries.
The 19-year-old winger, who plays for Dinamo Zagreb, was eligible to feature for four different national teams: France, Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia.
According to reports from Foot Mercato, Ayoub Makhfaoui has decided to commit to Tunisia and is expected to begin his international journey with the country’s under-20 setup.
The decision follows months of competition among the federations, all eager to secure the promising attacker’s services. In the end, Tunisia emerged as his preferred destination, marking a significant addition to their youth ranks.
Makhfaoui is known for his versatility in attack, capable of operating on the right wing as well as in a central forward role. His pace, direct style, and ability to break through defensive lines have made him one of the most exciting young prospects to watch.
With a contract at Dinamo Zagreb running until 2029, the teenager now looks set to continue his development at club level while beginning his international career with Tunisia.
