Ayoub Boumaza: Morocco defender joins Hilal Nador on free transfer
Morocco centre-back Ayoub Boumaza has joined Hilal Nador from Fath Nador on a free transfer, completing a move to his latest club on 18 September 2026.
Boumaza, 26, started the 2026-27 campaign with Fath Nador before switching clubs. The defender made his most recent recorded appearance in the Coupe du Trone Marocaine, playing the full 90 minutes in the competition.
The move continues a sequence of free transfers for Boumaza during his senior career. He joined Fath Nador from US Temara in August 2025, having made the previous move without a fee in January that year from AC Ksiri.
Before that, Boumaza represented Kenitra and Widad Temara. He joined AC Ksiri from Kenitra in September 2023, after leaving Kenitra for Widad Temara in November 2020. His early senior career also included spells with RCA Zemamra and Kenitra’s reserve side.
Born in Kenitra on 15 December 1999, Boumaza stands 1.87 metres tall and is listed as a centre-back. He can use either foot, giving him versatility in possession and in defensive situations, although his primary role remains in the centre of defence.
His career has so far been based in Morocco, with each of his recorded senior moves taking place between Moroccan clubs. The transfer to Hilal Nador therefore represents the latest domestic step for a defender who has moved regularly between teams since beginning his senior career.
At Hilal Nador, Boumaza joins after a season in which his recorded competitive involvement included one Coupe du Trone Marocaine appearance. His experience across Kenitra, Widad Temara, RCA Zemamra, AC Ksiri, US Temara and Fath Nador forms the background to his arrival.
Boumaza completed his free transfer from Fath Nador to Hilal Nador on 18 September 2026.
