RSC Anderlecht are reported to be monitoring PSV Eindhoven U21 winger Ayodele Thomas as the Belgian side weigh up a move for the highly rated teenager.

The 18-year-old, who represents PSV’s second team in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, has been linked with a switch to the Jupiler Pro League, with Anderlecht credited as a potential destination. According to the latest data, the probability of any deal remains unclear, listed only as “?”, underlining that discussions are, at most, at an early and speculative stage rather than an advanced negotiation.

Thomas is currently valued at €650k, a figure that has risen steadily over the past year and may make him an attractive, comparatively low-cost investment for a club renowned for polishing young talent. With no contract expiry date publicly listed, there is also outside speculation that his situation could develop in a way that ultimately sees him move on for a modest fee or, in a longer-term scenario, potentially even as a free agent if no new terms are agreed.

Born on 23 July 2007 and standing at 1.88m, Thomas is a right-footed left winger who can operate across the attack and holds dual Netherlands and Nigeria nationality. He has progressed quickly through the youth ranks, moving from Almere City FC Youth to Feyenoord’s academy in 2020, then on to Feyenoord U17, before switching to PSV’s youth set-up in 2023 and stepping up to PSV U21 ahead of the 2024-25 season.

Having already featured in Dutch youth leagues for Feyenoord and PSV, a move to Anderlecht would represent his first experience in Belgian football and a potential gateway to senior top-flight minutes. If the interest from Anderlecht develops into a concrete offer, the transfer could mark a significant next step in Thomas’s career and a fresh platform to build his reputation at professional level.
