Aymen Kouadri-Habbaz: Algerian winger swaps ASO Chlef for ASM Oran on free transfer

Algerian left winger Aymen Kouadri-Habbaz has joined ASM Oran on a free transfer from ASO Chlef. The 21-year-old, born in Chlef, makes the move within Algeria’s top flight after his contract with ASO Chlef came to an end.

Kouadri-Habbaz, who primarily operates on the left of the attack, arrives in Oran with Ligue 1 and cup experience despite his young age. He featured in eight league matches and two Coupe d’Algerie ties last season, amassing just under two hours of first-team football across all competitions as he began to establish himself at senior level.

ASM Oran have secured the winger shortly after his market valuation reached €50,000 in June, underlining the club’s decision to move quickly for a player still in the early stages of his professional career. The transfer, completed on 13 July 2026, sees him remain in domestic football while taking on a new challenge away from his hometown club.

Kouadri-Habbaz came through at ASO Chlef and earned his first senior minutes there, but now links up with an ASM Oran side looking to deepen their attacking options in wide areas. His ability to play high on the left flank adds another specialist wide player to the squad.

The move has been confirmed as a free transfer, with Kouadri-Habbaz now officially registered as an ASM Oran player.
