Ayman El Yahiaoui: Belgian-Moroccan Right-Back Joins KACM Marrakech on Free Transfer

Belgian-Moroccan defender Ayman El Yahiaoui has joined KACM Marrakech on a free transfer from Capo FC, completing a move to the Botola Pro Inwi side as a right-back. The 22-year-old, who was born in Brussels and stands at 1.78m, switches to the Moroccan club after a brief spell in the United States with Capo FC.

El Yahiaoui, a right-footed full-back, arrives in Marrakech having spent the early stages of his senior career in Belgium’s lower divisions. Most recently, he featured in the 2de Nationale FFA, making nine appearances and accumulating 167 minutes of playing time. His move gives KACM Marrakech an additional option in defence ahead of the new campaign.

The defender’s path to North Africa has taken in several Belgian youth systems. He progressed through KV Oostende’s youth ranks before moving to Union SG’s academy, stepping up from their Under-18s to the Under-23s. A switch to Dender EH’s Under-21 side followed, before he left to spend a period without a club.

El Yahiaoui later resumed his career at Sp. Bruxelles, again joining on a free transfer, before making the move to Capo FC earlier in the 2026/27 season. His latest transfer marks his first move into Morocco’s top flight and the next step in a journey that has already seen several changes of club.

The deal sees El Yahiaoui registered as a KACM Marrakech player from 20 July 2026 following his free-transfer departure from Capo FC.
