Zamalek head coach Ayman Al-Ramadi is refusing to let his side lose focus as they gear up for a vital run of matches in both the league and cup competitions.
Despite inconsistent form that sees the Cairo giants sitting third with 41 points, Al-Ramadi is counting on his squad to step up.
“We have important matches ahead,” he said, pointing to upcoming clashes with Pyramids, Petrojet, Pharco, and the Egyptian Cup final—also against Pyramids—as key tests of character and resolve.
Zamalek face Pyramids next on Tuesday in the sixth round of the Premier League. Al-Ramadi dismissed claims the team has lost motivation after falling out of the title race, insisting the club’s proud legacy demands full commitment.
Injuries remain a concern, with Nasser Maher and Ahmed Al Juffali sidelined, though goalkeeper Mohamed Sobhi returned to training. Al-Ramadi, who recently replaced Ceramica draw veteran Jose Peseiro as the club’s fourth coach this season, praised the unwavering support of Zamalek’s fans and urged his players to show their true quality.
