AWGAD MAGD: EGYPTIAN GOALKEEPER SIGNS FOR NIGERIA

Nigerian club Dolphins has signed Egyptian goalkeeper Awgad Magd from Syrian club Hathing FC. Magd joined his new teammates in Nnewi, where the team is preparing for the upcoming season. The goalkeeper is expected to provide competition in the position alongside Sunday Rotimi and Austin Brown. Dolphins finished the 2011-2012 season in 11th place in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPL) with 50 points in 36 matches.
