After being hampered by an ankle injury last December, Prince Ségbéfia, the midfielder for AJ Auxerre in the French Ligue 2, has returned to the pitch. Ségbéfia resumed training sessions independently from the Burgundian group, expressing his satisfaction, “I started again, and I feel good. For now, I’m running alone.”
Initially expected to make a return at the end of January, Ségbéfia, who has played 13 matches and scored 2 goals, has progressed ahead of his rehabilitation schedule. He attributes his faster recovery to the hard work he put in during the holidays, saying, “During the holidays, I worked a lot. So, I’m coming back faster than expected. I miss the field. From Monday, I resume collective training, and we will see what happens next.”
AJ Auxerre, currently in the 11th position in Ligue 2, welcomes the return of Ségbéfia as a reliable element in their squad for the remainder of the season.
