Paul-Georges Ntep de Madiba has commented on the matter, stating that while he has heard about the potential selection, he has not been officially called up and is currently focused on his career with AJ Auxerre in Ligue 2. He emphasized that while Cameroon is his country of birth, France is his adopted country.
The Cameroonian football authorities are making efforts to reassure and persuade these players to represent Cameroon, citing examples of other players who may not have had substantial playing time with the French national team.
