Promising talent Paul Georges Ntep is currently attracting interest from prominent French clubs, namely Marseille, Lille, and Saint-Etienne. The AJ Auxerre player has been a standout performer at the start of the season, not only with the Espoirs national team but also with his club. In the Euro 2015 qualifiers, Ntep contributed significantly to France’s 4-1 victory over Armenia by scoring the fourth goal for the Bleuets. At the club level, he has impressed with AJ Auxerre, netting 3 goals in 9 matches.
However, Auxerre is not willing to part ways with their prized player without significant financial compensation. Guy Cotret, the president of the club, issues a warning regarding Ntep’s potential departure.
“The possibility of his departure will hinge on the offer, which must be substantial. Currently, there is nothing concrete, but it also depends, above all, on our sporting situation in January. We won’t let him go if we are in the midst of a promotion battle,” cautions the president of the Burgundian club, as reported in L’Equipe.
