Austria v Republic of Ireland: Ticket prices, sales and match information for Nations League clash

Austria will host Republic of Ireland in UEFA Nations League League B at the Raiffeisen Arena in Linz, with both sides competing for valuable points in a closely contested group stage.

Here is everything supporters need to know about the fixture, including ticket prices, where to buy them and the recent form of both teams.

When is Austria v Republic of Ireland?

The match will be played at the Raiffeisen Arena in Linz. The official kick-off time is to be confirmed in local listings.

How to buy tickets

The primary allocation of official tickets is being distributed through OETicket, the Austrian Football Association’s official ticketing partner. The platform normally handles general sales for Austria’s home internationals.

Supporters are advised to register on the OETicket platform early so they can access the available seats as soon as general sales begin.

If the standard allocation sells out, or sections of the stadium are no longer available through the official website, secondary-market platforms such as Ticombo may offer tickets. Availability on those sites will depend on whether listings remain after the official allocation has been exhausted.

How much do tickets cost?

Standard single-match tickets through the official ticket portal start at €48 for regular seats in the general-admission sections of the Raiffeisen Arena.

Prices on the secondary market are considerably higher. Tickets through platforms such as Ticombo start at about €269 when the usual standard allocation is no longer available.

Austria and Republic of Ireland form

Austria’s recent record is mixed. They have won two of their past five matches, drawn one and lost two.

Their most recent fixture ended in a 3-0 defeat by Spain in the World Cup, while they also lost 2-0 to Argentina during the group stage. Their strongest result in that run was a 3-1 victory over Jordan.

Austria also drew 3-3 with Algeria in a six-goal match which highlighted both their attacking threat and defensive vulnerability.

Republic of Ireland have been more consistent across their last five games. Halgrimsson’s side have recorded two wins, two draws and one defeat, with their latest result a 1-1 draw against Canada in a pre-tournament friendly.

The 5-0 victory over Grenada was the most emphatic performance during that sequence. A goalless draw with North Macedonia and a narrow 1-0 win over Qatar, meanwhile, underlined a side that has proved difficult to break down.

Recent head-to-head record

The latest meetings between the teams have been closely balanced. Their most recent encounter ended in a 1-1 draw in Dublin during World Cup qualifying in June 2017.

Across the past four meetings, Austria and Republic of Ireland have each won once, with the other two matches ending level. The goals have also been evenly shared during that period, with neither side establishing a comfortable advantage.
