Aurelien Tchouameni says the mood in the Real Madrid camp is electric as the team gears up for the knockout stage of the FIFA Club World Cup.
The midfielder believes Madrid are building momentum at the perfect time and shared his excitement about a potential boost from one of their biggest stars.
“We’re really looking forward to seeing Kylian again. He’s an incredible player,” Tchouameni said, hinting at Kylian Mbappe’s return for the upcoming rounds. “Gonzalo is playing very well, but we’ll see Kylian back with the team in the coming days.”
Tchouameni was full of praise after Madrid’s strong showing at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
“We played a good match, we stuck to the plan and it was a good win,” he said. “We’re comfortable with and without the ball, with the systems we’re using, and we’re getting better. Now every match is a final. The next one is against Juve, and we have to recover and prepare for it the best way possible.”
