Aubameyang Eyes Real Madrid Dream Amid Strong Dortmund Season
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continues to shine at Borussia Dortmund, but his ambitions lie even higher. The Gabonese striker has openly declared his dream of playing for Real Madrid, a goal he hopes to achieve in the future.
Despite Dortmund’s turbulent season in the Bundesliga, Aubameyang was a standout performer, outperforming big-name forwards Ciro Immobile and Adrián Ramos.
“I had scored sixteen goals, including thirteen in the Bundesliga, when I arrived in Germany. Now I’m at twenty-four, including sixteen in the Bundesliga,”
he told L’Équipe.
With the departure of Jürgen Klopp, Aubameyang is eager to prove himself to the incoming coach and continue building his profile.
“My goal? To have an even bigger season next year. A departure? For now, no. I’m here, with my (three-year) contract. After that, it will obviously depend on the new coach. Whether he wants me or not.”
Ambitious and focused, Aubameyang is determined to continue improving—potentially setting the stage for a future move to the Bernabéu.
