Saltire City have added teenage right-back Attahir Ali to their squad after the Chad and Scotland youth defender joined the club on a free transfer from Dumbarton U20. The 19-year-old completes the move ahead of the 2026-27 campaign, switching clubs within the Scottish system after two years in youth and development football.

Ali, who plays primarily at right-back and stands at 1.72m, moves to Saltire City following a spell with Dumbartons under-20 side, whom he joined in 2024 from North Kelvin United. His transfer continues a steady rise through the Scottish youth ranks, with the player now stepping into a senior club environment.

Comfortable on his right foot, Ali offers defensive cover on the flank and the potential to operate in wider areas of the back line.
