Atalanta ready to test AC Milan with Yunus Musah offer
Atalanta are moving with intent as they prepare a €25 million bid for AC Milan midfielder Yunus Musah, reports Nicolo Schira.
The Bergamo side see the American as a player who can inject fresh energy and versatility into their midfield as they push to strengthen for the future.
Musah, now 22, only joined Milan last summer from Valencia in a €20 million deal. The Rossoneri could be tempted by the quick profit on a player who has already shown promise but is still growing into his role in Serie A. For Atalanta, signing him would be both a long-term investment and a statement of ambition.
Last season, Musah played 40 matches across all competitions, providing 2 assists. His work rate and adaptability have earned him respect, even if his numbers do not yet fully reflect his influence. On September 19, at age 20, he made his UEFA Champions League debut, coming on as a substitute in the 72nd minute against Newcastle United.
This move, if completed, would underline Atalanta’s determination to build on talent and potential rather than star power.
