Italian outfit Atalanta BC are on the verge of signing Ghana international Kamaldeen Sulemana.
The Serie A club has reached an agreement with Southampton to sign the talented winger in a deal worth up to €21.5 million.
After a week of advanced negotiations, transfer insider Fabrizio Romano confirmed on Thursday that both clubs have agreed on terms.
The deal will see Atalanta pay €17.5 million in instalments, with an additional €4 million in performance-related add-ons.
Southampton will also retain 15% of any future transfer fee should the Ghana international be sold on.
Sulemana is expected to undergo a medical in the coming days before signing a long-term contract with the Bergamo-based club, keeping him at Atalanta until June 2029.
