Italian side, Atalanta are hoping their winger, Ademola Lookman will recover fully ahead of their decisive Champions League game against Club Brugge on Tuesday.
The Nigerian winger completed part of Sunday’s training session with the rest of the team and is expected to be available for the game.
According to reports in the Italian media, Lookman likely be available for the game which will be staged at the Gewiss Stadium.
The Nerazzurri suffered a 2-1 defeat in the first leg last week, so they must win on Tuesday to progress to the Round of 16.
Lookman partially trained with the rest of the team on Sunday alongside Sead Kolasinac ahead of the game.
Atalanta will train again today and if Lookman joins his teammates, he will surely be available for tomorrow’s match.
The Nigerian attacker has missed the last six games across all competitions with knee problems.
Lookman has made 27 appearances for Atalanta this term, scoring 14 goals and providing seven assists. He has netted 10 goals in 19 Serie A matches.
