Yohan Benalouane, the 26-year-old central defender, has officially joined Atalanta Bergamo on loan for six months with an option to buy. Benalouane, of Tunisian origin, has been little used at Parma this season. He participated in his first training session with Atalanta Bergamo on Tuesday. In 2010, Benalouane turned down a call-up from the Tunisian national team for a friendly match against Congo, stating his preference to wait for another year or two.
