Fresh off securing promotion to Serie A with Parma AC, versatile right-back Woyo Coulibaly has caught the attention of several top European clubs. Among the interested parties, Atalanta Bergamo has emerged as a potential destination for the 24-year-old Franco-Malian defender, according to reports from Africafoot.

Coulibaly joined Parma AC from Le Havre AC in the summer of 2021 and has shown significant development during his time in Italy.

His performances in Serie B have been instrumental in Parma’s successful campaign, leading to their return to the top tier of Italian football.

In the past season, Coulibaly featured in 26 matches, contributing two assists, and proving his worth as a reliable and dynamic right-back.

Despite his crucial role in Parma’s promotion, Coulibaly’s future with the club remains uncertain.

He has attracted interest from other Serie A clubs and prominent teams abroad, including Turkish giants Galatasaray, Trabzonspor, and Fenerbahçe.

Atalanta Bergamo’s interest adds another layer of intrigue to his potential summer move.

Currently, Coulibaly is under contract with Parma until June 30, 2025.

His market value is estimated at €2 million, and his weekly salary is reported to be around €11,000, equating to an annual income of approximately €525,000.

Should he transfer to another club or secure a contract extension, these figures are expected to rise.

Parma AC has offered Coulibaly a contract extension in an effort to retain his services for their upcoming Serie A campaign.

However, the lure of playing for a club like Atalanta, known for its competitive edge in Serie A and European competitions, might be too tempting to resist.

Coulibaly’s journey from Le Havre to Parma, and now potentially to Atalanta, underscores his rising profile in European football.

His defensive prowess, combined with his ability to support the attack, makes him an attractive option for clubs looking to bolster their squads with a versatile right-back.

As the summer transfer window approaches, Woyo Coulibaly’s future remains a topic of keen interest.

Whether he stays with Parma or makes a high-profile move, his next steps will be closely watched by fans and analysts alike.
