English side Aston Villa are yet to officially present a bid to Chelsea to sign Senegalese forward Nicolas Jackson, despite the club’s strong interest in securing the services of the striker.
Reports from PA Media indicate that Chelsea have so far received just one formal offer for Jackson, which came from Bayern Munich in the form of a season-long loan proposal.
Newcastle United and Aston Villa are still monitoring the situation. Newcastle’s pursuit depends on resolving the future of Alexander Isak, while Villa are reluctant to match Chelsea’s asking price of £60 million.
Italian champions Napoli are also keeping tabs on Jackson, although it remains unclear whether they would push for a permanent transfer or a loan deal. Chelsea, for their part, are keen on a sale rather than a temporary move.
While Bayern Munich early this month made an official bid to sign Nicolas Jackson on loan for the 2025/26 football season, it is unclear if the club will return with another offer after the initial one was rejected.
