Premier League club Aston Villa have announced the acquisition of Ivorian striker Evann Guessand from French side OGC Nice.
The 24-year-old forward makes the move to Villa Park for an undisclosed fee after an impressive 2024/25 season in Ligue 1, where he netted 12 goals and played a key role in helping Nice secure a fourth-place finish.
Guessand, a product of Nice’s youth academy, was named the club’s Player of the Season for his standout performances. Known for his versatility across the front line, he brings added attacking depth to Unai Emery’s squad.
He will wear the No.29 shirt for the 2025/26 campaign as he begins a new chapter in the English top flight.
