‘ASSAD’ unveiled as Official Mascot for AFCON 2025 in Morocco

His name, which means “lion” in Arabic, reflects the cultural authenticity and bold spirit the tournament aims to celebrate.

CAF describes Assad as more than just a mascot, positioning him as a central figure in fan engagement throughout AFCON 2025.
