Asisat Oshoala fulfils spiritual dream with Umrah Pilgrimage
Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala has expressed her excitement and gratitude after embarking on her Umrah pilgrimage to Mecca.
The Nigerian international shared a series of heartwarming photos from her spiritual journey on Facebook, capturing moments of reflection and joy at Islam’s holiest site.
Dressed in modest attire and surrounded by fellow pilgrims, Oshoala radiated happiness as she described the experience as a dream come true.
“I feel like a kid at the Disney park,” she wrote.
The post, which has since attracted thousands of reactions and comments, reflects not only her faith but also her humility and sense of fulfilment in ticking off one of her most cherished goals.
After parting ways with Bay FC earlier this summer, Asisat Oshoala made a high-profile move to Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal.
The Nigerian star hit the ground running, delivering three goals and two assists in just three appearances, a blistering start that earned her the Saudi Women’s Premier League Player of the Month award for September 2025.
Oshoala further underlined her influence by netting the decisive goal in Al Hilal’s victory over Ashleigh Plumptre’s Al Ittihad.
