Isimat Mirin’s Loan to Saint-Étienne Delayed Due to Travel Issues
The much-anticipated loan move of defender Isimat Mirin to AS Saint-Étienne has hit a minor snag. Although the official signing was scheduled for Tuesday evening, the deal has yet to be completed as of Wednesday.
According to French newspaper Le Progrès, the delay is due to Mirin missing his plane on Tuesday, which prevented him from arriving on time to finalise the contract with the Ligue 1 club.
The former Valenciennes player is now expected to arrive at Saint-Étienne’s training centre on Wednesday to complete the signing and officially join the Greens.
