AS Nancy-Lorraine is up for sale, as announced by Jacques Rousselot, the president of the club, and majority shareholder since 1995. In an interview with Le Parisien, Rousselot revealed that he has enlisted the services of an intermediary to seek a partner who could acquire a majority stake in the club.
Rousselot expressed his sense of not being able to continue and the concern of jeopardizing his assets. He mentioned, “For three years, I have had the feeling of no longer being able to do it and of putting my assets in danger. I am suffering more and more and perhaps I will move on.”
This announcement indicates a significant development in the ownership structure of AS Nancy-Lorraine, and the search for a new partner is underway to potentially take on a leading role in the club.
