French outfit AS Monaco is unsure about the injury return date for France international of Guinean descent, Paul Pogba.
The former Manchester United and Juventus star has not featured for the Principality club since succumbing to a calf injury at the start of December 2025.
Prior to sustaining the setback, Pogba had made just 30 minutes appearances for Monaco, as he built up his fitness following a two-year absence from football.
Pogba has yet to return to first-team training and it is unclear as to when he will make his return to the pitch.
“The medical staff are focused on finding a solution, firstly so that he gets back on the pitch, before then returning to matches,” said Monaco’s CEO Thiago Scuro.
“He continues to recover from his calf injury. His return date? There is no clear response.” It is not a good sign for the former Manchester United and Juventus midfielder, who has been removed from Monaco’s UEFA Champions League squad.
Pogba arrived at Monaco last summer as a free agent after completing his two-year suspension from football over doping.
