AS FAR have finalized the sale of Amin Zahzouh to Qatari club Al-Wakrah in a deal valued at €4 million, doubling the club’s initial offer of €2 million.
The Moroccan club initially resisted Al-Wakrah’s bid, firmly upholding Zahzouh’s release clause and insisting on transparent negotiations throughout the process.
Following prolonged discussions, both parties agreed on the €4 million transfer fee.
Under the terms of the contract, Zahzouh is set to earn €3 million over three seasons, averaging €1 million annually.
This transfer represents a new record for AS FAR, surpassing last season’s top sale of Hamza Igaman, who moved to Scottish side Glasgow for $3 million.
