AS FAR handed venue change ahead of Olympic Safi clash

AS FAR have received an unexpected update ahead of their league meeting with Olympic Safi in the 19th round of the Moroccan Professional League.

The encounter is scheduled to take place on Thursday night at 9:00 p.m, with AS FAR set to host Olympic Safi in an important league fixture.

However, the National Professional Football League has officially confirmed a change of venue for the match shortly before kick-off.

According to the league’s statement, the game will now be played at the Olympic Stadium Rabat instead of the previously selected Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex.

The league added that the fixture will still go ahead on Thursday, May 7, 2026, with the scheduled kickoff time remaining unchanged.

The late venue switch comes as a surprise ahead of a crucial stage of the domestic campaign, with both teams aiming to secure valuable points in the league standings.
