Arsenal secured a dominant 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday, with Ethan Nwaneri etching his name into the club’s history books. The 17-year-old scored the third goal, becoming Arsenal’s second-youngest Premier League scorer, surpassed only by Cesc Fàbregas, who found the net at 17 years and 113 days in August 2004 against Blackburn Rovers.

Nwaneri, aged 17 years and 247 days, showcased his talent with a composed finish, capping off a stellar performance for the Gunners.

The goal marked a significant milestone in the career of the Arsenal academy graduate, who has already tallied four goals this season, including three in the English League Cup.

The Gunners displayed their attacking prowess throughout the match, overwhelming Nottingham Forest at the Emirates Stadium.

Nwaneri’s contribution not only highlighted his growing potential but also reaffirmed the strength of Arsenal’s youth development program.

With this victory, Arsenal climbed to third place in the Premier League standings, level on 22 points with Chelsea. The win also bolsters their confidence ahead of their upcoming Champions League fixture.

Arsenal’s next test comes on Tuesday, November 26, as they face Sporting CP in the fifth round of the Champions League group stage.

The Gunners will look to carry their domestic form onto the European stage as they aim to secure a strong finish in their group.

Ethan Nwaneri’s historic achievement adds another bright chapter to Arsenal’s season, as the club continues to blend youthful energy with experienced leadership in their pursuit of success.
