Arsenal weighing move for West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus amid rumors of Trossard’s potential departure

Arsenal are reportedly eyeing West Ham United’s versatile Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus as a possible addition to their squad, amid speculation that Leandro Trossard could be set to leave the Gunners next summer. The London club is said to be preparing for a potential transition by identifying Kudus as a replacement should Trossard make a move abroad.

Rumors suggest that Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad remains interested in Trossard after a last-minute attempt to secure him on loan during the previous transfer window fell through.

Although Arsenal rejected that approach, Al-Ittihad is expected to return with a new offer next summer.

The 29-year-old Belgian has been a valuable player for Arsenal, but with the growing financial lure of the Saudi Pro League, his potential departure seems increasingly likely.

According to sources from The Mirror, Arsenal have rekindled their interest in Kudus, whom they previously considered before his £40 million transfer from Ajax to West Ham last year.

Arsenal’s interest in the Ghanaian international has reportedly intensified as they seek a dynamic winger who can bolster their attacking options and fill any potential gap left by Trossard.

Kudus, who has already made an impact at West Ham, has registered 16 goals in 55 appearances for the club.

Known for his quick footwork, technical skill, and keen eye for goal, Kudus has demonstrated versatility, capable of playing across the forward line and in midfield.

His promising performances at both club and international level have caught the attention of several top clubs, with Liverpool also reportedly monitoring his situation.

While Arsenal have been clear about their admiration for Kudus, securing his signature could be a challenging task.

The 24-year-old Ghanaian star has a long-term contract with West Ham, extending until 2028, and the club views him as a pivotal figure in their future plans.

West Ham are likely to demand a high fee for his services, reflecting their commitment to keeping him as part of their squad for the foreseeable future.

If Arsenal were to make a formal offer for Kudus, they would likely face fierce competition.

Liverpool’s interest in Kudus suggests that Arsenal may need to act swiftly and decisively should they want to bring the Ghanaian to the Emirates Stadium.

With Kudus performing consistently for West Ham and solidifying his reputation as one of the Premier League’s rising talents, any potential transfer bid would require substantial financial commitment and strategic negotiations.

For now, Arsenal’s priority remains securing their place in both domestic and European competitions, but as they assess their long-term squad depth, adding a player of Kudus’s caliber could become increasingly appealing.
