Arsenal will reportedly be one of the busiest sides in the summer transfer window, Africasoccer has learned.

According to sources, the club is considering dropping its interest in signing Spanish-Ghanaian winger Nico Williams.

The club now wants to focus on doing everything to sign in-form Ousmane Dembele from PSG.

Reports indicate that Dembele’s impressive season with PSG has caught the eye of Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, who will have the opportunity to assess the French forward up close when the Gunners face PSG in the Champions League semi-finals.

A standout performance could strengthen Arsenal’s resolve to make a serious move for the 27-year-old, who is also attracting interest from Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester United.

While Arsenal’s pursuit could unsettle PSG, the French giants are determined to hold onto their star man and are already working to extend his current contract.

Dembele has been in sensational form this season, scoring 32 goals in 42 appearances across all competitions.

Despite the fact that Dembele still has three years remaining on his existing deal, Arsenal could be willing to table a significant offer.

It is unclear whether Dembele will be interested in a move to Arsenal or not.
