Serge Aurier, who has been a standout performer for Toulouse this season, appears to be eyeing a move away from the French club. The talented right-back has caught the attention of several top European clubs, with the Premier League being his preferred destination.
According to reports from goal.com, citing the Daily Star, Arsenal is leading the race to sign Aurier. With Bacary Sagna rumored to be joining Manchester City, Arsenal sees Aurier as a suitable replacement and is reportedly willing to pay €9 million to secure his services.
However, Arsenal faces stiff competition for Aurier’s signature. The 21-year-old is also being monitored by other European giants such as Monaco, AC Milan, Chelsea, and Manchester City.
A product of the RC Lens youth academy, Aurier has completed an impressive season with Toulouse, helping them secure a 9th-place finish in Ligue 1.
